Cookie policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They let the site recognise you, remember your preferences and measure how it is used. At Zethra we use cookies and local browser storage for the website to work properly and — optionally, only after your consent — for analytics and marketing.
2. Cookies used on zethra.ro
ESSENTIAL (always active — required for the website to work) • zethra_session — admin sign-in cookie (duration: browser session). Without it you cannot stay signed in. • zethra_cookie_consent — your cookie preferences (local browser storage, duration: 12 months). Without it you would see the banner on every visit. • zethra-site-cart — the shopping cart (local browser storage). Remembers the trainings you add before checkout. • Stripe — online payments are processed securely by Stripe. During payment, Stripe may use its own strictly necessary cookies or storage, on its own domain, to process the payment. These are not analytics or marketing cookies and do not depend on your marketing consent. ANALYTICS (optional — only with your analytics consent) • Google Analytics 4 (Google) — measures pages visited, traffic sources and device type. • _ga — recognises the browser across visits (duration: up to 2 years). • _ga_* — keeps the session state for Google Analytics 4 (duration: up to 2 years). MARKETING (optional — only with your marketing consent) • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) — measures the effectiveness of ads on Facebook and Instagram and enables relevant ads. • _fbp — recognises the browser for Meta Pixel (duration: up to 3 months). • _fbc — stores the click on a Meta ad that brought you to the site (duration: up to 3 months). • Google Ads — when Google Ads functionality is enabled on the site, measures visits and conversions coming from Google ads. • _gcl_* — may be set when you arrive from a Google ad, for Google Ads attribution (duration: up to 3 months). Optional analytics and marketing cookies are not stored before you give consent for the relevant category.
3. Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode. The Google tag loads on every visit, but it starts with all analytics and advertising permissions denied. While you have not made a choice yet, or if you declined: • Google analytics and advertising cookies (_ga, _ga_*, _gcl_*) are not stored; • Google may receive cookieless measurement signals — for example the page visited, the consent state and technical information sent by the browser. When you accept analytics and/or marketing, the corresponding permissions are updated immediately, and Google may store the cookies of the accepted category. Meta Pixel does not load and sends no data to Meta before you give marketing consent.
4. Your rights
You are in full control of optional cookies: • On your first visit we ask for your consent through a banner. • You can accept all categories, only the essential ones, or choose per category. • You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. When you withdraw, Google permissions return to “denied” and Meta Pixel stops; cookies already stored can be deleted in your browser. • Essential cookies cannot be turned off — the website does not work without them. Your consent is renewed automatically every 12 months.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Besides our banner, you can manage cookies directly in your browser: • Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647 • Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/cookies-information-websites-store-on-your-computer • Safari: https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471/mac • Edge: https://support.microsoft.com/topic/microsoft-edge-cookies-faqs-a16c1f9e-1c30-4a99-bdf0-0789a3e5eaff Deleting essential cookies will sign you out and reset your cart.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy following technical or legal changes. The current version shows the date of the last update at the top of the page. Changes that extend the collection of optional data require new consent — we will show the banner again when this applies.
7. Contact
For questions about cookies or to withdraw your consent: • Email: contact@zethra.ro • Or use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer to change your choices immediately.
